THE MOVEMENT
Somedays: the art of turning someday into today.
Somedays are the experiences, relationships, adventures, conversations, goals and moments we keep putting into the future. The movement is a few million people deciding to move some of them into the present.
Why somedays matter
Someday rarely sounds like a bad idea.
It sounds responsible.
When work settles down.
When the kids are older.
Next summer.
When we have more money.
When we have more time.
Someday lets us keep the dream without requiring us to move toward it. That is what makes it dangerous. A dream can feel enough like a plan that we don't notice nothing has actually moved.
No date. No ticket. No first step.
The desire is real. The movement isn't.
Patience has movement in it. Postponement just keeps saying later.
Somedays exists to change that.
The Somedays method
Four steps, and none of them ask you to change your life.
01
Find it
Identify a someday that actually matters to you.
02
Date it
Give it a place on the calendar.
03
Do it
Take the first step and create movement.
04
Done it
Celebrate it, write it down, and make room for the next one.
This is not about adding pressure. It is about closing the gap between what you say matters and what actually gets time.
WHY SOMEDAYS
I thought I had more time.
I was raising seven kids, building businesses, and taking care of everyone and everything around me.
My plan was simple: I'll take care of everybody else, and then I'll take care of me.
The problem was, the second half of that sentence had no date.
Then a semi-truck crashed into my SUV.
I survived. And I started seeing time differently.
Most doors in life don't slam shut. They close slowly and click quietly.
Somedays exists because I don't want us to wait for something to happen before realizing how much of our life we've been saving for later.
